Elena Candela

Elena Candela, Venezuela's own volcano, is a dissident burlesque performer from Venezuela, now based in Bristol. This fiery brunette presents herself through raw movement that celebrates exaggeration, taking up space, and laughing at oneself. Her style is inspired by Latin Soul and Latina vedettes from the 60s and 70s, and the acts she brings to the stage tell stories that are bound to surprise and delight the audience.

Elena will be performing at LAUGH YOUR KNICKERS OFF on Friday 3rd May and at LIVE & STRIPPING! on Sunday 5th May, both at Todmorden Hippodrome.
